What this place offers
What visitors are saying
There's a lot to see here, but you need lots of time as the queues can be very long for the attractions. I recommend getting there very early! We were lucky to catch an historic procession, which included a band and the firing of an ancient cannon. There are some nice cafes on the square.
One of the best & most beautiful Piazza in Florence.
A place which has a romantic and musical vibe via its every night concerts.
Anyone can spend hours here and enjoy life!
Very nice historic palace building with impressive decor and educational information. No real waiting times for us and reasonably priced. If you want to go up the tower there are specific time slots assigned with the ticket.
The vastness and the story of each building on it are fascinating, but the multitude of perfect statues is what takes your breath away. You really have the impression that they are alive...that the movement will continue, the hair will untangle, the muscles will be taut...you know that it is only a stone, but it evokes absolute respect for the creator.
