Extensive gallery featuring a history of art from Florence and the region, dating back before the renaissance.

If you are visiting I recommend your use a guided tour as the number of artworks is extensive. Ours was able to show the development of the styles throughout the ages, also exploring the political developments of the day to give context.

Obviously a beautiful museum with lots of see.

I couldn’t thoroughly enjoy it because of how crowded it was, my fault for picking this day but I really recommend not coming here in July.

There’s so many people that you need to constantly dodge and fight to get a good spot to look at a painting or at a statue.

The museum could also do a better job at directing visitors to the first floor, it wasn’t hard to find the stairs but I can definitely see many people missing out on them.

The Uffizi museum, is very impressive. You get many of the famous masterpieces and the setting with the art on the vaulted ceilings is equally impressive. It’s simply a must see when in Florence. Book tickets in advance, and show up on the appropriate time!

Incredible experience. They do a really good job of limiting the amount of people in each gallery so that you feel like you have some time to review the works. The staff are friendly and the masterpieces are well, masterpieces. It's incredible to get up close and personal with some of humanity's most impactful works.
