A very beautiful place famous for the glass industry, and it has many beautiful scenery and wonderful places. You can go there by public transportation or through tour groups that will take you on a tour to the glass factory to see an interesting show on how it is made.
Very crowded bus station from Venice to Murano. Would recommend to go early in the morning to avoid long queue. Many glass stores and was able to see their factory at the back of their store. Other than that, lovely island and worth a visit.
Wonderful island. Recommend to take the trip if in venice. Also take the glass factory tour with demo on how glass its created.
