George's Taxi

Used George’s Taxi for a transfer from the cruise terminal to the airport. Yes, they are a bit more expensive than a cab. But then again all three of my cab experiences in Athens involved drivers trying to rip me off, so I’d much rather pay a flat rate in advance for the top quality service that George’s Taxi provided. They were timely, the driver (Stratos) was informative and friendly, and the car was as impeccable.

My friend and I travelled with George’s Taxi several times within a week. All drivers were impeccable in every respect. Spoke excellent English, had fantastic driving skills, were kind, considerate, shared many useful and/or interesting information with us.

A day trip to Delphi with Alex was just perfect. The timing, the advices, the stops we had and above all, Alex’s illustrated overview of Greek history that was really helpful to me in that magical place. Thank you!

We booked a 6-day Peloponnese and Central Greece tour and were very pleased. Our driver (Stratos) was kind, professional, always prepared, and a font of information. He took us (3 adults) in a comfortable Mercedes taxicab, stopping at regular intervals for sights, to stretch our legs, lunch, etc.

He supplied water, hand wipes, and good conversation (in English). The lodgings arranged by the taxi company were clean, comfortable, and had good breakfasts. Our itinerary was well-planned and unhurried.

Had a fantastic experience with George's taxi. We had Stavros drive us around for two days in unusual circumstances. Athens got snow.

Stavros made the best of the situation, and had plan A, plan B and plan C. He is super knowledgeable and told us all about the area, ancient Greece and the gods. He even kept us entertained with stories while the road was closed for over an hour.

The car is beautiful and Stavros is an excellent driver, we felt safe the entire time. He also has some great food recommendations. Could not have asked for a better driver.

Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Athens.
